Every iPhone comes with a “Stocks” application pre-installed. It is very easy to use and incredibly intuitive and the installed base is ALL iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad users.
So, in the spirit of starting with the familiar, I used that design to create the iPhone SportsFolio Manager 1.0.

With Amazon’s release of the Android store yesterday, I am now confident this platform will become an even larger player in the mobile market. We will build an SRI simulator for the Android platform as well.

Apps I use have to be simplistic. What I really enjoy are widgets. This way there are no apps to open…just a visual and an easy user interface.

An important element that I think is so often lost in these discussions is the global nature of the SRI patent pending. It is a very real possibility that the SRI will trade OUTSIDE the United States before it trades INSIDE the United States.
This should be considered when making strategic decisions of this magnitude.

This legal opinion was requested and drafted in early 2008 during the final negotiations with United States Futures Exchange that closed the deal in the summer. Personal circumstances and the complexity of this task slowed my progress.
So, I must tentatively revise the delivery date for the first version to Monday January 31, 2011. I will have a better gauge of the accuracy of this date in the first couple weeks of the New Year and update accordingly.
