Now, at one point you did lay claim that there was our outfit in the UK that expressed interest in the SRI. I believe they were referred to also as a sports risk management firm. Would they not be susceptible to the SRI patent and if so how is that being reconciled as of late? I apologize if I’m asking a lot of questions…[Read more]

In other words could the SRI be used for say the Albuquerque Isotopes minor league baseball team? I realize that club is small potatoes compared to the bigger fish out there but it does create revenue and affect economies.

You did make mention in your audio about how far the patent went and what it covered. Just didn’t know it went this far.

Some of their parameters paralleled how the SRI is set up. Just curious as to how this website acquired their information. Sounds like they’ve got something already set up?

Could the passage of HR227 possibly help the SRI? I know the SRI is steering clear of anything remotely associated with the gambling industry. However, the dangers could be minimized if this were signed into law I would guess.

Interesting. Would you happen to have a team in which you’ve applied the 19 variables in a real world scenario? Would any of the “sources” assume any responsibility of accuracy or any obligations? I can see why the CFTC would raise flags on values 15 thru 17. However, would it be feasible to circumvent this [...]

Would it have been realistic to say that if I had a strong hunch that LeBron was going to leave Cleveland that I would use “shorting” in this instance? That would come with the assumption that the value of the Cleveland Cavaliers would diminish after he left. Also, what determines the value of a team? [...]

My answer would be “yes”. I would’ve continued to trade regardless of dividend payouts. I was more interested in seeing the value of my shares increase for future sale. If I recall correctly dividend payouts did not exist initially on ASM.

Not sure this is the appropriate place for this observation, but, how would the market reacted when LeBron left Cleveland for Miami? I would’ve loved to have had the SRI in place prior to that transaction. This would’ve brought some excitement on another level. I’m not clear on your question, Chris, on div payments vs [...]

1. Real-time and 24-7 online trading 2. The competitive nature of the teams involved 3. Ease of user interface 4. Comradre with other traders I remember one Super Bowl where Pittsburgh was playing and during the entire game I was trading back and forth with each score. It added an element of excitement that paralleled [...]
