We will be promoting the SRI markets using slogans built around the SportsFolio™ trademark. The main elements of the message are:
1. This is an EVOLUTION of sports and finance.
2. Includes you in the action. Use your sports knowledge and skill to “become part of the action”.
3. A feeling of “ownership”.

Hi Chris,
I really enjoyed this call. Listened to it in its entirety last night. Going to do some thinking around some messaging and slogans that incorporate the three key elements above.
As for the facebook application that Alper mentioned involving more than just the simulator - I think its a brilliant hook to capture the audience and move them over to the education portal to better explain how the SRI will operate in the marketplace.
Based on Alper’s description, I see a role play type environment with the SRI trading simulator acting as the “ENGINE” at the center of the game. The trading of the SRI in the future will affect many different segments of the sports/business population so why don’t we establish roles so that participants can experience how their “sportfolios” would behave depending on the generated news of that day. This would take a lot of development time and $$$ to see through, but it would provide the public with a holistic view of why the SRI matters to so many more people than just investment bankers and financial institutions.
For example: (putting on my visionary hat here)
Role may include: Fan, Team Owner, League Commissioner, Athlete, Concessionaire, Sports Apparel/Equipment Manufacturers, Hotel Operators, Parking Lot Owners, Restaurant Owner, Scalpers, Brokers, Financial Advisors etc…
After a role is selected and they enter the game environment with fake dollars , they may begin to purchase sports instruments to establish their sportsfolios.
Then there would be pre-generated news and alerts that would affect the SRI values on a day-to-day basis ( all simulated of course).
News could be game scores, attendance, massive player trades, earnings reports, media ratings, new sponsorship announcements (think Aon and Manchester United) , new TV deals etc…. This is where the real development time would occur to generate 1000s of little news driven events that would affect the entire market and each gamer’s ‘sportsfolio’
If we can get a Xanga or another FB game developer to listen and you paint the entire picture of where you are taking this idea, maybe just maybe, they would accpect a piece of the larger pie to develop this role-play simulation game for us.
