Mario Cancio posted an update in the group SportsRiskIndex (SRI) Trading Simulator: 3 years, 10 months ago
Well, I think that the simulator and SRI basics are a little bit like the Forex market exchange. From my personal experience, there are a few trading platforms for the Forex, all similar, with a few differences between them, but the result is the same: the variations of the currencies pairs, are affected by the economic news of where the currency is from (example: Dollar-USA, Euro-Europe…), determined by many factors that creates those variations: unemployment rate, house buying’s, rate interests, inflation, etc…and of course, market speculation, making it very similar to the SRI concept.
What I want to say is: is it very hard to do a trading platform similar to the ones in Forex exchange? The principle is the same, but with a few tweaks, and the fact that SRI is associated with sports, we can make a phenomenal new product, which would bring not only new traders, but also traders from the Forex over saturated market, traders from stock markets would enter the game also, simply because of the fact that SRI is related with sports. And, who doesn’t loves or at least enjoys them?
One of the software developers that we contacted for a price quote built several FOREX trading platforms. That is a good model to follow.
As far as the SRI drawing cash from other sectors, that will definitely happen. The question is: What changes in the global economy will be the result?
I believe that, considering the similaraty with the Forex market and the other markets, and the sate of saturation and hardness that they are in, what we are doing, it’s going to be a new spring for the global economy, althougt it’s hard to say what will be the real impact (I hope it’s going to be huge, he he).
I believe the potential for a huge impact is certainly there. As I’ve said many times in the past, a thorough understanding is the key to everything. No “smoke and mirrors”. The global public from Nairobi to New York must have a clear and simple grasp of the SRI. The rest will take care of itself.
