The Canadian-based Chinese patent attorney offered to begin our translation and document preparation now without prepayment. Of course, I authorized this. It takes some time to translate the entire set of documents into Chinese and this makes up most of the charges. So, we are underway with the Chinese patent application process. We do need to raise the funds and settle this bill when the work is done.
Upon grant, these patents will be in effect until December 22, 2028 (20 years from our 12/22/2008 original priority date).
